This place is amazing! The food is so fresh, creative, and addictive! We actually ended up here after we walked out of Page's Okra Grill (after sitting for over 10 minutes without a server), and we're so happy we did! I found more than 5 different things that I immediately wanted to try, and our server helped me pick with personal advice on each. I highly recommend the crab cakes, the Jamaican shrimp tacos, and the Shrimp Roll (like a lobster roll, but with shrimp). Great prices and even better food! Also, the jicama salad was awesome....told you I couldn't decide, so I tried it all!

Boyfriend and I came here after walking the bridge - so attire is not a big deal. Very laid back, relaxing atmosphere. Inside there are about 6 booths across from the wall bar. Small area for band/dancing. The night we were here, it was karaoke night. Outside there is another bar, which is covered and has a Tv or 2, and a nice sized deck with tables and umbrellas. Bartender was awesome taking care of us, even giving us some spare coozies he had for our beer. the menu is basic but still diverse enough to have you trying to figure out what you should get. I had the club sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was HUGE. And delicious!!! Hit the spot. The sweet potato fries had to be fresh cut, I've never ordered them somewhere that they tasted this good. Boyfriend had swordfish sandwich with onion rings. Again huge but delicious portions. The onion rings will have you craving more. Not loaded down with tons of breading like you get at other places. All onion. YUMMS!!! Loved the atmosphere, food and got to meet some interesting people too. Definitely going to be one of our regular after workout stops!!

This is a good change of pace when you get tired of the crowded and loud bars. This place isn't big but that doesn't take away from the chill local vibe. It also has a lot of regulars which sometimes can act like they own the place. That gets a little old. The bartenders are all fast and helpful with any questions. The food is pretty darn good, nothing fancy, just very good sammiches. There are also a lot of fried choices on the menu. This place is also well known for oysters! Yummy, grab a bucket and shuck away on the outside deck with some cold beer. Makes for a perfect afternoon!

Arts is s local place that has some of the best food you will find. During shrimping season they only use local shrimp. Portions are good enough for two. Friendly staff, just down home local folks.

I read the reviews so I stopped in while in town. The bar was dirty and there were a lot of flies. While checking out the menu, mostly bar food...fried, a guy got a fried seafood basket. It looked fine, but I was hoping for something a little more unique and healthier. I had my beer and decided to go. If I were just going out for a beer and some pub grub with friends and wanted a super casual night on the deck, I'd definitely go back. Maybe next time.

Stopped in for quick beer. Great staff and food. Had wings and they were cooked perfect. Beer was ice cold and bartender was very attentive. Great place for pilots to visit.

Their burgers are the best, especially the peppercorn burger!! The Steamed oysters bring us to Charleston from Columbia frequently during oyster season. It's the best deal in town and steamed to perfection ! Service has always been speedy and friendly (we love "the Cheers" atmosphere)! Highly recommend if you are looking for great tasting food I'm surprised Arts hasn't been featured on diners drive ins and dives!! Fabulous local grill!

Absolutely the worst bartender I've ever had! Not only was he SO DRUNK that he cld barely speak, He repeatedly mocked us for our drink choices, spilled everywhere, took ten minutes to go inside to get a lemon ( I assume) then cldnt even remember what to put on our tab ( bc he was trashed)! Inside bartender was also rude but seemed at least coherent. The outside one then proceeded to stumble around smoking and drinking more and return only to make more nasty comments. I can't believe that a place with such great reviews wld allow this atrocious behavior. I literally felt like this was an episode of bar rescue. Didn't even want to go to the restroom bc who knows what that wld be like considering the state of the rest of the place. I love dive bars and the friend I was with had a great time here previously so I can only hope these jokers are not there long enough to completely ruin the business.

A real gem that we never would have found without Yelp. Middle of the day on Saturday and several places we went to were closed. Too late for lunch, too early for dinner. Art's was perfect! Local, local, local...all the local oysters you can eat for $10. What a deal, juicy, sweet, salty, perfect. This is not the place to get dressed for...a dive type of place with cold beer and hot oysters. It doesn't get better than this!

Couldn't decide on place to have lunch until we drove past Art's. As a first time, this was a great place with fun & friendly environment. Did all you can eat oysters. Seemed a little high priced, but I was very impressed. The oysters are fresh and local clusters. So flavorful you don't need any sauce with them!

Went to check out the fresh local shrimp. They were so overcooked that the shrimp were tough and chewy. Very disappointing. The bar was smoky and the beer tepid. Won't be back.

On a perfect Saturday morning we stopped in for brunch. Saturday brunches are not common here so this was on our list. We sat outside and enjoyed the quiet buzz of Coleman Blvd traffic. Led Zeppelin was playing in the background- good choice. We ordered a bloody Mary - very good. The bartender shared her secret ingredient. The mimosa was big! For my second I asked for less OJ and the server delivered. I got the eggs and bacon breakfast. They were both good. The sausage patty on the side was just OK. The biscuits were tasty, but probably pre-frozen. Totally fine as I do not expect this bar to be making biscuits from scratch. However i can totally see some hipster griping about that, so this is my anticipatory "go back to park circle and gentrify that" retort. My husband liked the eggs Benedict. The potatoes served with our meals were breaded sweet potato fries with sauteed peppers and onions. While unique, not quite what we expected for brunch. Service was great. We observed the am oyster delivery too. I've enjoyed drinks here but I've never eaten here. I'm not sure we'd come back for brunch, but I definitely see a return visit involving beer and those fries.

Love the food here....but all you can eat oysters actually means wait 45 minutes and get none then leave. A party of 15 Chinese people were getting plenty of oysters and I realize the steamer is only so big but after waiting 45 and not getting our first buckets the possibility of getting more than one if we ever got a first bucket looked bleak. I will probably go back but not anytime soon and not if I find another option. Wasn't waitresses fault just bad circumstances and 15 Chinese tourists.

Fun place to hang. They have $10 all you can eat oyster roasts through the oyster season. TV's for sports. Bands play inside. Indoor outdoor seating with a cool outside bar. Pets are allowed on the deck outside. The menu isn't the best, but it's a fun place to hang and the oysters are fresh and good. Beer and drinks are always pouring.

This is definitely a local dive bar. We found it online when we were looking for some all you can eat oysters. It seemed like more of a bar than a restaurant- the ambiance was pretty rugged and only half the service was good. There was an awesome guy steaming the oysters that was friendly and accommodating, but overall not an extremely welcoming place. They also had no shrimp at the time because they were done fishing it out of the water for the day and ran out- it was pretty early. I am no oyster expert, and while they were good, you were given a large, bucket and had to shuck yourself- beware of the mud.

Well the service was really great nice waitress. The son of a peach beer was awesome. We ordered the peel n eat shrimp it was horrible it stunk and was mushy and i am a shrimp lover. So giving Arts a thumbs down. Sorry Art.

Visited Art's on a Wednesday night, which just so happens to be free wing night (quite a variety) during Happy Hour. Indoor and outdoor seating/bars so you can take your pick. Food: Went with the flounder sandwich and steak fries. First off, the sandwich was two HUGE lightly breaded pieces of flounder. Bread was soft, and tartar sauce was very pickle-y which I liked. The steak fries were hot, crispy, and salty which is again, just the way I like them. My mom ordered the peppercorn burger and I had a bite. Would definitely consider ordering one of their burgers next time, as it was perfectly seasoned. Beers: Happy hour prices were friendly and beers were served nice and cold. If you're looking for a friendly little bar and grill while in Mt. P, this is a place that's worth a shot! :)

We spend every Sunday afternoon at Art's enjoying the all you can eat steamed oysters. They are awesome. The beer selection is not great but you can find something drinkable. The fries are really good. Service is great. Kent, the owner, is awesome.

Decided to try it out for lunch today. Fabulous!! Had no idea what to expect, but did not expect to get an amazing Cesaer Salad with fresh Tuna. Wow!! Down to earth, good prices, great service and wonderful food. Loved it and will definitely go back. I was eyeing the vegetable quesadilla and will need to go back to try that!
